I’m Whitney Bird…
Along with my husband and three sons, I live on our farm in Eastern Montana, Bird Hay Farm. It can get a little western at times, but I love what we do and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Along with raising boys, I keep chickens and have earned the title “crazy chicken lady” due to my love for those damn birds. I’m not the best farm hand, but I always remember to pack a cooler, and my tractor driving skills are getting better every year.
Because the world can always use more farmers…
Whether you live in the country or in town, I‘ll be here to encourage you to start that garden! Go get those chickens! Milk those goats girl because knowing where your food comes from has power. I’m no expert, but I’ll always give it to you straight and share the nitty gritty of farm life. I am a life long hobbyist and through humor and good ole fashioned trial and error, I share what I’ve learned living in rural America and on our farm.
